Cool Steel GU rims on a GQ?

Gday guys, new to the thread cos the other one has viruses apparently.
I want to put Gu series one steelies on my GQ with 33'tyres.Was wondering if they will fit ok and roughly where they sit in comparison with the plastic flares and also the actual body guard. The reason i am asking is that my flared guards are nearly stuffed so was wondering if i pull them off..will the gu rims stick out or not.
    Cheers

    Any replies appreciated.

They are the same offset so they will sit in the same spot. Put on rubber flares mate

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

They will fit. As for the 33's if they are 12.5 wide you may get some protrusion out of the guards without flare.
