Thanks mate, have closed the thread again, thanks for checking, I know why mine didn't pick it up the second time, I had to accept to go into the thread to suss it out.
Cheers again mate, will keep thread closed for the time been.
Honestly can't see it been a problem, but if anyone proceeded past the warning, please run a virus and malware scan.
Cheers
Todd

I have re-opened the intro thread that this thread is referring 2.
I found a post he had done ages ago, he tried to link a photo that he had on patrol4x4, even though the link didn't work, the link was still in his post, hence the warning.
I don't believe there was anything to worry about even if you opened the thread
But as always and 2 be on the safe side, virus and malware scan your computer if you did open the thread.
Cheers
Todd

The problem on the other forum has been around for a couple of months now, and on my computer (Mac running Safari or Firefox) I still get the message. It's getting very annoying as it doesn't seem to be fixed for everyone. And as I understood it, the problem had been identified but just not fixed properly. This was one of the reasons I thought I'd check out this forum some more haha!
I would steer clear especially if you're running Windows, hopefully it will be sorted out soon

THAT SITE IS STILL INFECTED, DONT GO THERE!!!!
The shop that gave my computer a heart transplant ran a scan on the site and it's full of trojans etc etc. He said even though you might not get warnings it's still infected and you're risking infection without you knowing no matter what security or system you run. He also said by them allowing certain content on some sections of the site (eg soft porn) they are risking attacks from possible dodgy sites as well.
I love terra firma - the less firma the more terra

Spot on guys it would of been a photo or something trying to display on this forum from that forum.
This site is 100% safe but there must be loads of links on this forum to P4x4 so unfortunately until they sort their stuff out just be careful what links you click on in threads for the time being.
If anyone gets other warnings please post the link of the thread up here and we'll get rid of it.
I have been getting a lot of PM's from people saying they clicked on links throughout this forum taking them to P4x4 but unfortunately their must be hundreds if not thousands of these scattered everywhere.

Hi. Yeah. The Patrol4x4 site has been displaying that warning for weeks. I use Mac so not so worried as they are a bit more robust when it comes to virus infection, but enough to be avoiding going to that site till they fix it (if they ever do). I have proceeded into the site a couple of times when I was desperate but in all honesty I would be avoiding it and save yourself some potential grief. Cheers
