GQ high revs
Got a GQ, driving today all of a sudden it started to rev around 3500 rpm it is a 4.2 carby cannot get it to stop soon as i start it, it starts to rev it head of, any idea

I would say your throttle cable might be jammed. Pop the bonnet, spray some WD40 on the throttle cable mechanism above the pump, move it back and forth and check if that free's it up mate or check to see if It's stuck first.

Might also be an auto choke sticking on. Do the same as AB said, bit of spray, wiggle, and play! When it's reving high give it a short sharp stab of the accelerator to see if it clicks the choke off
