Auto transmission refill.
I have been told after l change the tranny filter and oil, l can undo the transmission return hose add a long connection piece into a catch bucket, and as long as l continually refill the transmission fluid while motor is going then it should been fine, just watch for the change in color from old to new oil to get a100% oil change.
Would l be playing with fire or is it plausible to do.
Any thoughts.

It can be done just be ready to shut it down if the flow stops the oil pumps are steel on alloy so it won't take much to destroy one if it runs dry.

I did it with a 20L drum of fluid. Find a stable to to sit it on and have every ready before before you start.
