Ute seat wanted 1 1/2 swap my buckets
Job finished thankyou..
Im thinking about swaping my 1990 swb gq bucket seats in good condition for ute 1 1/2 seats with swap over my buckets and consol and handbrake

Are GU seats interchangeable with GQ seats?
2006 4.2TDi ex-Telstra Remote area Camper. 425w roof mounted solar, 360Ah Aux batts, BCDC1240, Onboard hot & cold pressurised & filtered water, (25 litre hot water calorifier), ARB fridge, ARB freezer, Built in kitchen, heaps of easy access storage, 240v, 3” Genie exhaust + dynotune, 2” lift, 3900kg GVM upgrade, second glovebox, ROH Blaktrak steel wheels, Bridgestone D697's (now Toyo RT's), Redarc gauges/pillarpod, Hema HX-1, Icom 450 CB, dual rear view cameras, Onboard 30amp Victron mains charger, second glovebox, dual seat conversion, TPMS, Boss PX7 onboard air with 9 litre tank, 350w inverter, Steel bullbar, Harrop Eaton diff lock (front), Warn winch, Snorkel, Dual spares , 160 litre water tank, 180 litre fuel in two tanks (approx 1200km range) 2010 Tvan Tanami. Have to find out if gu and gq are compatable .1990 kingston brisbane
Sorry for that i just fixed it in thread . I still need to convince the missus so i have to show her the seats i want to put in so we can carry 3 when the back is full of gear .

Am I missing something? From the other thread you have a 2002 GU to check compatibility??

That was a hint for sombody who knows to jump in and say yes or no weather or not if gu pasenger 11/2 double seat from a ute would fit a 1990 gq swb auto ????

D'day landy96 i have a gq ute with the 3/4 bench, Iwas also thinking of putting a bucket seat in the passenger side if your still thinking about a swap i'm at Loganlea mate.
