G'day,
Recently purchased a new 2014 Y61 ST Patrol. Got some basic mods done prior to delivery. Finding more time to do more myself, plus, I find I am happier doing the work myself, so also wishing that I had maybe done all the mods myself.
Anyway, hope to do some more reading etc on this site, and atleast see how others have done their various mods before I plan any more 
Vehicle was purchased through Nissan in SE QLD. They provided some factory plastics, Bonnet, Headlight, Slim Weather Shields, Rubber Floor mats, cargo tray.
ARB fitted Deluxe Bar, Safari Snorkel, Tow Pro, Hayman Reece Tow kit, Reversing Camera and review mirror, Electronic Rust Protection, 2 x outlets in rear left 1/4 panel (1 x anderson and 1 x cigarette)
ARB supplied Dual Battery Kit, which I have since fitted myself, pics to follow.
I have since purchased and fitted Front and Centre rows MSA covers, Outback Roof Console, and my first UHF radio GME TX4500S and AE4018K1.
Looking at doing some touring and 4wding in QLD. So hoping to get a decent test drive happening in July to see how it is all going.
Future mods I am looking at winch, light bar and spotties, at least in the next year or so.
Things for now, I am looking at what others use to assist with trip planning and mapping. I have been looking at Hema Products and getting a second hand pad, rather than buying books and books. Happy to get your thoughts on that....
Almost the weekend, so I guess it is going to be busy time for most.
