G'day all, Breddo here, soon to own a Patrol hopefully with a little advice ;)
The Wife and I haven't done a whole lot of 4x4 driving just the odd beach run (we live on Bribie Island in QLD) and we also did Fraser Island last year up to Orchard beach and took the tinnie. All done with the ol Mazda Bravo 2.5 petrol. Looking round and doing the comparisons and bearing in mind that this will be our so called good car my thoughts are a late model say 2012-2013 GU patrol as the later models have rear locker if I'm not mistaken, or the series 100 LandCruiser. I'm thinking that price will dictate my decision here. Is there really much difference in the later model Patrol as above of is is the same as the say 2006 ?
One again, Hi All and Happy New Year.

G'day Breddo and welcome to the forum. You probably won't get a whole lot of support for the series 100 thing on this forum. I have a 2005 GUIV Patrol and I am very happy with it. You should be happy with any of the GU models I think.
Tony
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder
And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time. And lost in space... and meaning.
