I believe there are very few areas in Vic you can legally get onto the beach now - 90 mile beach has tightened up and there used to be a smallish beach down the Otways you could get onto in the late...

My 5t 2 poster is in the planning stages, just need to settle on the land, then the first thing that goes up is the shed and hoist - NO MORE GARGAE FLOOR for me
Gave the new crimper a test run today. Its an absolute winner for crimp strength, however its on the semi difficult side getting the terminal into the jaws. There is a compound slicer plate that...
Daugter's with Optus, located outside Bainsdale Vic, has not had phone or internet for a month - something to do with a tower fault - unusual for something as steady state as a phone system to be...
Was wondering where you have been? Great job, loving this build. Brilliant documentary also. thanks

Yeah all good, wife walloped me when I got home as 22 packages were sitting on the floor!!! So I decided to get straight back on the horse and order a couple more items, just so she knew I was...
Got a bit bored this arvo, so decided to pick up this set to start cutting down on some weight in the truck with tools. I think its a good compromise and teamed with some other stuff is heading in...
Mark, you may have quite easily got the mig wire sheath on too tight a bend radius and it would not feed correctly - been there numerous times trying to squeeze under the car and get the gun aligned...
Been thinking about this today, and there are harmful agents in the timber, regardless of whether its wet or dry. The one that comes to mind is creosote. This is the stuff that builds up inside a...
Is this the start of 'another' thread on what flares should I buy!!!!!! I can understand why you are annoyed mudski. Commiserations.
What I was told by the Australian agent when I had a CTEK 250S battery system expire, was that the electronic componentry has a shelf life, whether its used or not, so if a device is sold by a CTEK...
Good clear explanations and easily understood. Its really simple trig stuff when it comes down to it, 'triangulated ' forces or vectors, easily missed in the field under duress and when the operation...
Purchased one of these today. My journey with CTEK is about at an end. I find their gear lasts about 2 years then failes. I have gone thru at least 8 chargers so far, and the 5amp unit is running red...
I had two sets of the first type and two of the second, both in the recycle bin. Sick of crimp connections failing. Combination of cheap/poor quality connectors and crappy crimpers.
This finally arrive from the US whilst on shift. very nicely finished, now just have to practice using it to get the benefit.82917
Yes, its ambiguous in VIC for sure. The VSB covering light bars states they are allowable as long as they dont protrude past the bullbar profile, in itself a point of contention when BB are normally...
I made up a cover out of 2 ply conveyor belt - its a simple rectangle, with two cable tie loops onto the bull bar rail. It sits nice and neat out of harms way, protects the rope from UV and dirt etc,...
Knipex 97 00 215 A Crimp Grip Plier (9700215A)
$140 AUD,
Have only just got home Daz, opened and closed them a few times, they are very 'positive' in action, just like a pair of vice grips. The...
So, back from the mine in NW QLD and a vast difference in Covid response up there.
1) I was covid tested after arriving on site the second day after the alert for the outbreak that closed the QLD...
Agree, just got home, unwrapping the boxes and found these, they don't look like the advert, the tang is quite small, however they lock quite firmly. I dont think any cable tie is a life saver...
I have 2 packets of these waiting at home for me now, interested to see the locking quality.
Best wishes Darren, have a great day.
I am still waiting for the guy who borrowed my roofrack for a 1976 Subaru to return it - just on principal! Been over 30 yrs now, maybe he has forgotten - I haven't.
My apprenticeship has commenced ol' master!
