A few stats:

1 cracked bonnet scoop
But what brought the trip to a quicker than planned end was the total collapse of a wheel bearing on my daughter's & son-in-law's caravan resulting in the wheel going its own and the running gear hitting the road about 1.5 hours west of Alice. Van was tilt-trayed to Alice and we await the outcome because there is not much available there to do the required repairs.
