Need to make surround to keep everything free.
Also making a few last minute mods to the draws.
Removing some material from the floor.
No need for it to be 1 full piece.

ETA on the rear bar is 16th June. Hopefully painted the next day and then off for fitment. Mechanically I'm done, just go over a few things as it gets closer. Make sure everything is tight. Going to start vacuum sealing dinners this week and look at some of the smaller things, repellent, new thermals, camp chairs and storage boxes (due to the cargo barrier) need a couple smaller ones.

Still trying to get a new rack and awning before the trip, but we'll see how that goes.

Super excited and a bit nervous, we both are..

Somewhat testing the other Aii McForum spiced ham here tonight. Stress less Johnstar & Misso, we are not travelling to the ends of the McEarth. Plenty of support across this Forum and Travelling upwards together too

Just be aware that their coverage is somewhat limited - certainly not all, and not both ways. And with a group travelling, there is plenty of help on site.
Not saying that it is not a worthwhile service, but just do your homework first.

The reason I decided to finally join this great Forum…circa 2015 was when I was in trouble on a highway with elecy fan/overheating issues
One phonecall to @AB and within minutes he did do a Forum assistance call here. I was kindly redirected, via phone, to a Legendary member then nearby in Shepparton to clear his auto electrical shop schedule to keep me & my then 6YO Baby Daughter rolling in 40C summer heat
Let’s see if FaceFark can ever achieve Old School Camaraderie

That’s it, I’m off and rolling reminiscing of NP.com.au Forum assistant packages for many others too IIRC

Satellite phones have definitely been utilised in my presence by members to contact Old School Guru members across Australia to assist their own vehicle failures during Adventures.

Cannot imagine any of us/them could have connected/formed friendships as truly honourable through FaceBuck?

Just got a message from Garmin to say they will no longer allow posting to fb or twitter from their devices, that’s shit as that is how I was keeping in contact with my emergency contacts when travelling on m6 own, no explanation just as of July 1st 😡
