    KSD Industries rear bar

Anyone had any experience with the KSD Industries rear bar? They look smart, so are they any good? Any comments?

    KSD Industries rear bar

It looks great BB Mate, first I’ve heard of them which isn’t new
Please do double check they’re ADR compliant though for GU’s as there’s a weird Aussie only rule of them needing all rear lights (indicators/stop/tail) within the rear OEM bumper and or aftermarket steel bars IIRC
I think it’s got something to do with rear spare tyre mounting right hand side (drivers here) which Mr Nissan overcame via lower bumper lights to appease?

EDIT: The rear bar lights hopefully are large enough to meet ADR and function all required If so, I’m adding one to my wishlist too

They are a very sexy looking bar. From my days working at Kaymar Eng, the requirment was to have the supplementary lights to cater for an 45 deg viewing block of the factory indicator/stop assy. It was a looooonnngg time ago, but I suspect these guys have it nailed even though the lights are the slimline LED setup, but as @MB suggests pay to check as PLOD is always watching. Really smart looking rig.

All depends on if its a Chyna import or locally made. If its an import I would wet my finger and turn the page...

just doing a google search and they are a couple of QLD boys that started in their shed. Looks like they are making everything in house and have a Laser cutter and all the gear.

It also looks like they have not followed the trend of after market guys doubling or tripling the prices and are still reasonable. That rear bar is $2400

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Made in Caboolture Qld. For me that also means no shipping as I can pick up.

It really does appear a no brainer now BB Mate
At $2,400 for such a great looking rear bar Aussie made, slap a sticker on the back and Mr PLOD shouldn’t care ADR quirky compliance or otherwise

Arctic white for mine please, when you’re placing your order for two (2)

I have sent them a query asking for some more info as there is not much on their web site - just waiting for answers. I think I would go with the black to match the front bar - can't really see the value in colour matching.

That would have to be one of the neatest bars I've seen. Mmmmm nice.
