Newbie - question on RADIO install < where to find it> if I have the Antenna!
Hi All,
Just got my hands on this cool 4wd Nissan patrol. I ve no clue on UHF radios but needed some tips and advice if anyone can give me a direction and ideas on it. Photos attached.
What I am unsure of is on missing any elements here. I don't see any handheld or mounted mic box. Antenna mounted is from GME. I can see neat wiring under the bonnet too.
Follow the antenna coax or the speaker wires and you will find the radio. Previous owner may have it removed before selling and left only the parts you see, though.
P.S: I can totally see myself reversing over that glass garage door of yours if I had one like that, LOL.

It's in his Lounge room mate! I love the commitment.
I can see a speaker in one 9f those pics but cant see a hand set which you need so you can press SEND.
As Mr Brazil mentioned, trace back the cables, you will find Cut wires or the UHF.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever. WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
