We really are Bursting guys. Tony, keen you along on this, it would be great to see you again mate. Can your mate jump in yours mate? There is a heap of Non-Forums which is kinda OK buy we do need to keep it tight, as loose as it is now.
10 years ago we had 11 I think but the thread started at 20 or more. Was mental buy lots dropped out. We are getting to the pointy end of this and we are getting Fat.
I think Snicko jumped on a couple of days ago, she was on the last trip and it would be awesome to see her again.
Do we have an actual Head count by chance?
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
I have posted in the Facebook chat but need to put this here too.
Can everyone that is bringing a vehicle on this trip Please ensure you have a rated recovery point on the front and rear of your vehicle. This is a MINIMUM Requirement. Please understand what a Recovery point is, not a tie down point. If in doubt please take a photo of what you think is a recovery point and either post it here or send me the pic via DM. Happy to chat.
To everyone that has a friend coming in a second or third car, please ensure they understand where we are going and they have their vehicles well maintained and have spares as required. Please also make sure they bring a great attitude and a sense of humour. I'm OK with Drivers coming with no Sand experience, we can do a crash course and plenty of knowledge available.
We ALL as a Group need to ensure we arrive as friends and finish the trip as closer friends, this is the promise we make to each other.
If you have a friend coming who is not on the forum, ask them to sign up and chime in. Obviously not everyone drives a Nissan but a trip like this crosses over, they can join and engage.
I look forward to seeing old friends and new ones. Can't wait.

FWIW: Nuffy struggling here meself to keep up with our organisational Shenanigans posted above
Pretty sure us Tail End Hillbilly’s originally voted on “Come one, come all” with as many whom want to adventure, just simply spread out in say convoys of say 5-8 at 30 minute intervals?
Of course each convoy leader should carry a sand anchor so that off track they can get themselves forward to open up a rear vehicle anchor point for the next adventurer
FWIW #2: We did get stuck around Dalhousie plains for some 3+ days back in the day, no point driving, mud as thick due to La Nina coming again
