Got a tip off from ol’mate Nic about some excess timber that’s available to be cut and split for firewood. Last weekend was our last weekend officially for firewood collection until it reopens next autumn, so this saved us having to go searching for it.
I think I have a good backup now. 6metres wide by 1.8 high and double row.
Then this same bloke offers me a choice of timber for me to make some floating shelves for my kitchen. We chose, I get it home and started to work on it.

Finally after a year of no air con it’s fixed and blowing blizzardly cold air!!!

One obvious broken line, one small hairline crack in another piece of the line and finally the compressor was also leaking.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I'll tip its not gonna be hot, or even warm at Cape Jaffa this summer mate. Every summer I have been there, its cold and blowing a wicked southerly.
