About the COVID prices... You sell it high, but then when you go buy yourself a new rig, you pay high as well. This price situation is only good for people who had cars laying around, no better time to make money while cleaning up the space. For everyone else it is more likely time to hold tight to what you've got and keep it serviced and running until this all go away.

Nah,give it 6 months n the second hand market won't be where it is,I can already replace it with a 3yr newer model for less than what I sold it...seriously...i have never done less bush work, getting firewood, pushing tracks and enjoying a 4wd since I owned it....happy to go back to a car I'm not so scared of scratching

Think its going to be a lot more than 6 months cobba, people have been predicting a market change for more than 12 months, yet it has not got better, i am in the used car industry in QLD, unless its different where you are, personally i don't think it will change until there is a greater supply of new cars than buyers, only then will the used car industry feel the benefit of the knock on effect, and then maybe prices will start to come down, but that could be about 6 months after the new car market stabilizes IMO.
Recent floods in QLD wont help supply as demand will now go up, nor will the Felicity Ace being out of action help new car supply, as the rest will now have to carry her share.
