SUCH IS LIFE
What did you buy today
Picked up one of these 40t beasts from Batlow today. I reckon it’s been used once and left for a year and sold.
Still had what might have been original fuel in it…lol
Quick drain and top up and she started first go.
Not bad for about a third of new price
….seriously don’t know why I haven’t bought one earlier..lol

Yestdy actually.
130 amp alternator, JAS oceania, made by Chin Lee of course.
Around 400 clams plus fitting and heavier cables.
Had to do it 'cause some moron (I will not incriminate myself)
added an extra battery to the backpack camper and the dcbc chargers were arguing
over who got the bulk of the juice.
Now with all leccy bits blazing, IC fan and pump, AC, high beam and light bar etc,
Making 14.4 volts on the start battery at 1000rpm.
Pretty damn good I'm thinking.
I AM NOT STUBBORN.........I prefer the term, Singlemindedly independent !

Picked this up during the week. 2015 with less than 50,000kms, owned by an old phart, just like me!
The Patrol will be up for sale in a month or so, after a bit of maintenance and a full detail. 2005 GU IV 4.2 tdi with 220,000 kms and ALL the fruit. Will post up full details when ready for sale.
@AB, please don't ban me, I'm old and feeble and just needed a change after 14 years ...........
Time Marches On .....and on ..... and on

That is a sweet ride for sure! I'd love to have one 79 like that but they were not sold in Brazil. I was able (not without a lot of effort) to score that same set of wheels for my 105.
