Thanks for all the facts guys.
I'll be servicing the car soon. So after all the filters and oily mess ends I'll give it a wash.
The pink stuff concerns me so I'll stick with 18 for now.
There is a thick covered cable in conduit across the motor going left to right. Will be hard to avoid.
But should be fine??.

The master farter
if you use the "Pink stuff" on your motor there will be cause for concern. The "orange stuff" is what you use to wash down a oily and greasy engine. Its fine to use even on eleccy parts. Just don't leave it sit for more than 5-10 minutes.

hello, I also advise you to wash the engine under supervision, because if they do not wash it correctly, it will be bad for the fuel system, I already had this .. (
