I am glad ARB had free fitting on show special when I bought my front locker, compressor went under drivers seat.

need to be a bit wary if compressor has a thermal cut out switch,
under bonnet temps will render it useless untill it cools down,
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Good point John. I have the ARB difflock compressor mounted on the chassis rail on passenger side, however it gets a bit of airflow from the location adjacent to the mechanical fan. The under hood temps can get pretty high especially with the Chev. I have not had any issues to date with mine, and suspect the setpoint will be pretty high to cope with the duty cycle these units are designed for.
