Finally got to pick up our "new to us" van. The bonus is the walkways are wide enough to fit my walking frame.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Have a look at the wear indicator on that tyre. These were new, November 2018, and have done circa 15 thousand. Lol. Cheap tyres... Funny thing is too. Last Saturday the tyre was flat again. So I removed it and took it down to the tyre shop. the plug was still good bit had two other punctures. One was a piece of wood. A piece of wood...

So i have been in this house 10 years. I have rebuilt the GQ in the back yard. I wrapped The carport at the rear 10 years ago in black concrete plastic. It has lasted 10 years!!!
Well much planning and many variations and finally this happened today!
The footing are inspected next Tuesday and Concrete Thursday due to the weather for the next week.
Shed kit delivered on 12th December and will be up within a week.
I am going to fit a 4.5t Clear Floor Hoist from Joel's Garage Gear based in Little River who make a great bit of kit.
This is Life Changing gents. Merry Christmas to me. Hoists in stock. I will install over my Christmas break.

I got my Nissan Patrol 1990 fully restored and was brought in Brisbane for DETAILING and PAINT PROTECTION. I am proud to say that the people around the project in TIMELESS did a good job.

Are you getting the 600mm post extensions to allow for the height of a patrol with a roof rack etc. These allow the vehicle to be lifted high enough to walk under more easily. My son and I installed a 4 ton lift (not from Joel) with the extensions a couple of years ago at the back of our factory. Makes maintenance on the patrol so much easier
Cheers
Trevor
Good for you Darren. I have had my eye on the 5t unit for installation at my brothers place. He had plans for the big man cave etc then the marriage went south. I said 'if he builds the shed I will buy the hoist'. Just heard the shed is going up 'in the near future, but its a chinese jobbie and nothing like the original so the hoist is off the table for now unfortunately. They are a very nice bit of gear.
