After some 10+years of physically brew testing those horrible Waeco original 80L latches finally had to buy some new ones :-)

Admittedly they were a tad overpriced :-(
Should probably invest a few grand into a 3D printer to save next time :-)

EDIT: Like any top expedition box, user errors, first logically compress top seals via light weight, then latch down, easy peasy methods as smarter than I says ;-)
Well built gear can outlast us all if used correctly:-)
