Whining noise in 2014 Y61
i have an issue that is starting to annoy me. If I sit on 100 - 105klph I get a loud whining noise. It happens when cruising and goes away when under load. It's not a tyre noise, and I suspect that it's been happening for some time, but was not noticeable when I was running 33" muds. Now that I've gone back to the original mag wheels and standard original tyres, it is noticeable. I've recently changed all oils except the auto trans, and the noise remains. I suspected the belt tensioner, as I changed one at about 40thou, and now I'm at about 80thou, so I'm thinking ones due. Unlike the first replacement which screamed at idle or at reves, the current one doesn't.
This noise is different, it sounds like a diff whine, although there was no indication of wear when the oils were changed. I was thinking of doing a auto service just to eliminate that possibility.
Any ideas or similar issue from others?

I am he, fear me
Uni Joints can make odd noises under no/minimum load... esp if the vehicle has been modd'd so the diff pinion and transfer output shaft angles aren't right
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

If it changes tone when not/under load it sounds drive line related. Wouldn't expect the belt tensioner would change tones regardless of engine load, just engine speed.

I had a bad whine in my GQ years ago. It went away when I decided not to see her anymore.

possible a boost leak at one of the joins between the turbo and inlet , including inlet manifold ( they sometimes warp ) also check the egr pipe and connections and the intercooler . others have had problems with these items , if you search the site you might be able to find posts of how others were able to find and test for leaks . look for any telltale signs of slight oil leaks
