Right then, so we all met down at Avo's on Friday 1st March. Me and the family didn't get down there until just after 10pm but Avo kindly had some beds ready for us, and managed to get a few drinks down while catching up with Avo, MBTD42, Stropp and Woof
The next morning off we ventured, first stop Pemberton for a pie, the Northcliffe for a pee stop for the kids.... They never ever want to go before setting off from home. Then off to the airing down point.... Followed the track for a while, I got bogged in the Paj towimg a trailer due to driver being incompetent and not making sure 4wd was engaged properly.... Avo got to show is how good he was with a snatch.
Reached the camp ground after a few more twists and turns amd spent a leisurely couple of hours just setting up, chatting and stuff. After a couple of hours Avo decided he wanted to wet a line, so off we went for a wee drive down the track to the beach.... By this time I learnt how to engage 4wd properly, so had no issues getting bogged.
No fish were harmed during the taking of any photos.
Then after an hour or so, back to camp to get some nosh in and some drinking done.
