Total BS IMHO
I found it cheaper with my old carby to use 95 over e10, strait out fuel cost vs amount burnt
was told it would damage the rubber seals... only in the older cars most car since bout 2000 should be fine if it meats the min octane rating. so your vw golf had a min of 95
oh the other bit I don't like about the e10 is the e bit will allow water to mix with the petrol. so how much of what you buy is water ????
if its worth doin its worth over doin
Would never use E10 crap
My brother (mechanic) would roll in his grave if i did
Ethanol is a corrosive substance
But if you want to use it up to you
E10 is hygroscopic. It collects water which will sit in the bottom of the tank and eventually cause rust. It also has adverse effects on some types of seals thus causing fuel and oil leaks. Premium fuels are recommended by Nissan.Stick to the correct and recommended product and you will have a great and trouble free run. It would be a pity to ruin a great vehicle for the sake of a few cents a litre.
