I know there were a few accidents on that round about and that`s the reason why the lights put in, I heard. But I do agree they are simple to use.

In NSW you have to give way to a vehicle already on the roundabout. Even if you are on their right - you still must give way.

Haven't lived there in 16 years so things may we'll have changed but initially lights were put in place and only in use during peak rush hour times and were not used at any other times.
