Picked up the new Y62
Hi all
I'm a happy chappy, just picked up the new y62 yesterday & had a bit of a drive around (300 km). I must say it is very noice :-)
I am getting the towbar, brake controller, snorkel & bullbar fitted over the next few weeks. Very happy indeed.
Cheers

Awesome mate... what Bull Bar are you going with?
aaand, how much do they want to charge for a Tow Bar?
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Congrats mate. Make sure they dont cut a big section out of your rear bumper the fit the towbar. Unnecessary but still gets done at some dealers. Looks hideous for no reason.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

I think it is about $1200.00 & a bit over $55.00 for the brake controller. Getting it done at first service. TM is the only bar available for the series 4.

Looking in the owners manual there is a cover that goes over the hitch once the towball is removed so we'll see what I get.

Did you get a Ti or TiL... there are 5 or 6 bars available for S4 Ti, the TiL's with radar cruise I'm not sure... I'm leaning towards Opposite Lock at the moment if I stick with hoop style.
Do you use a weight distribution hitch on your Van?
If you do and were not aware, don't get the Nissan Factory (Hayman Reese) Bar, they do not recommend WDH with them due to how they attach the Bar to the Chassis.
