GU TD42 gearbox question.
i believe i have an early GU TD42 gearbox. my question is the reverse sensor is just behind the bellhousing on the drivers side and there is also a sensor in the middle on top of the box just behind the bellhousing also. is this the neutral position switch? i can not find anything about it anywhere. cheers. The one closer to the motor is the reverse switch and the other is the neutral switch.

Silly question but is that switch functional on TD's???? It's purpose is stop engine starting when in gear right?
I'm sure ive jolted my car forward with the starter motor once or twice.

Not sure, but remember on your old ZD when you used the idle up switch and then put it into gear and the revs would drop?....
