Bought this Patrol back in July
Hey guys!
I'm excited to be part of the forum!
I bought this patrol back in July from Adelaide and drove it down through Mt Gambier and over the Great Ocean Road on my way back up to Sydney.
Bit of a leap flying to SA to look at the car but from the pictures it looked really clean and well kept and this was the case when i saw it in person. The guy has kept it in almost spotless condition and claims he only did a couple of 'offroad' trips. Mostly used it to tow a boat around.
There's a quite a few spots of rust around the edges of the doors and the rear sliding window sills have visible rust but I think thats a common problem with all Patrols. Getting it looked at this afternoon.
Let me know what you think!

When i brought it back to Sydney and went for the Blue slip, the mechanic told me that the front tyres weren't going to pass roadworthy because they had been feathered? Basically the front panhard rod bushes were old and shitty which had caused the tyre to wear unevenly.
I got the bushes fixed and thought this would be a great opportunity to put some bigger tyres on it and change those ugly tri-spoke rims!

Patrol Freak
Hello and welcome to the forum.
As I lay there looking up, taking in the spectacular view that was the night sky and the multitude of stars I asked myself, where did my tent go?
