The yellow spill free funnel kit I've used for a long time in conjunction with uphill theory on my TD42 . Works great.
Bit easier on mine as it's got the self bleeding 2 side tank setup. So it gets rid of small remnants of air on its own after initial major bubble bleed.

Easier and cheaper than the ebay one, if you have a spare radiator cap. Just remember to disconnect the over flow hose off at the over flow bottle Lift it up and tape it to the burping bottle. This is so the excess water doesn't over fill the overflow bottle. I use the hose to drain the excess into a container after the burping is done.
I used a door stop, bottle, hose clamp, piece of 1/2 inch pipe, a rubber washer and the old cap. Simples.

Bit of an Update- looks like whatever air that was trapped ,is now gone, temp gauge is now fairly stable and sits between 75.c and 80.c with the new fan and hub.
