Overheating 4.2 Diesel Y61
Hello there
My 2004 Y61 Patrol is overheating(4.2 Diesel). Water pump is new, fan clutch is new, radiator is clean, thermostat is working and it still overheats. I don't know what to do now, any recommendations?
Thanks.

.........
G’day mate, have read on here before some poor bugger scored a dud (failing) fan clutch from new. Can’t remember the exact home test sequence the team here kindly helped figure it out with him though.

I am he, fear me
By "Radiator clean" do you mean the Rad has been removed, the top and bottom tanks taken off and the core rodded or replaced?
If not, thats where I would go next
If it has only had a Rad flush that is usually not worth a pinch of pelican poo...
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

How hot is it getting?
Do you have an aftermarket or just using the OEM gauge?
Just getting hot towing or just on big hills or all round too hot even idling, etc?
Anything in front of the radiator not from factory - Intercooler, winch, spot lights, LED Bars, bullbars that could be restricting airflow?

Been there and one that.
I dont trust Radiator cleaned..... For me. New radiator fixed the problem was it was "apparently cleaned"
Also Thermostat. Take it out and drive around to test without it

Water pump was out of condition 1-2 month ago, I fixed it and it was working perfectly(By the way i fixed fan clutch and cleaned radiator). Now it started overheat again, way more strongly. Little hill and overheat is starting. also, last 2 weeks, I was in mountain region and engine was little bit loaded, but was working fine nothing like overheat.
Front end is stock(except codan radio antenna). Radiator, Intercooler, everything is from factory
