[QUOTE=AB;753264]Christ, it just took me 2 hours to get a bloody bat outa the house, one could say I went Batty!!!
Reminded me of dogging around inside in the dark with lights on outside to get the "batty" thing to leave!! It appeared to be the only one enjoying the event..

Whilst camped down at Burgoynes on the stretcher with just a mosquito net due to the heat, a small bat managed to get itself tangled up 'inside' the net at about 3am - scared the crap out of me. Unsure if i would get some incurable disease if I got bitten so had to sort it out by torchlight and gingerly untangle it - flew away, heading in the direction of Yarra Glen I believe.

Have to tag this liittle one, so far so good!!Australian bat lyssavirus (ABLV) is a virus that can be spread to humans by the saliva of infected bats when the saliva comes in contact with mucous membranes or broken skin, or through bat bites or scratches. Infection with ABLV causes a rabies-like disease in humans that is usually fatal.

So...
End of October 2017, thought I would help out a 'mate'.
He has a Hilux, rear tyres were baby bum smooth, fronts had bad camber wear, as in bald outsides bordering on cord and belt protrusion with insides at over 50% tread.
At the time I was selling a set of 4 new looking steel rims with good tyres, for $250 (selling at a loss), as we needed the money and they were only spares.
He was keen, said he wanted them.
I used my tools, swapped all 4 wheels for him, loaded the old rims and tyres in the back.
I said he could have them for $200 (taking more of a loss) and he was happy with that and would pay me over the next 3 or 4 pays (he gets paid weekly).
I said ok, thought I was doing the right thing.
In November (about 2 weeks later) he came around and gave me $50.
That's it, no money since.
Have asked/mentioned it multiple times, but never get a response, or the subject gets changed...
What's more is I advertised the old rims and tyres for him (to busy at work aparrently), which got interest, referred the interested buyers to him, and find out he sold them for $150 a couple of weeks ago...
Was I right in helping him out?
Am I wrong for being s#!&@% about it?
Getting sick of mentioning it and asking him about it, but could use the money.
Cheers,
Evo

Sounds like a selfish bugger. Funny how some people don't even seem to realise it just get wrapped up in their own world.
You did the right thing helping him, most people are decent and I'm a firm believer of what comes around goes around.
Totally in the right to be shitty keep hassling the bugga even tho it's gets to be a pain in the butt . . .
