Hey Guys,
Below are the scenarios that I can think of the ways the engine fails due to head, head gasket or engine block issues.
- Water to oil
- Oil to water
- Water to combustion chamber
- Oil to combustion chamber(Rare I think?)
- Water to outside
- Oil to outside
- Compression issues from combustion gas leak cylinder to cylinder
cylinder to outside
cylinder to water (or oil)
valve seat/valve recession)- Compression, oil blow-by, smoke issues from worn oil scraper rings
- Smoke issues from worn valve guide seals(smoke on idling, no smoke on revving)
