I have been working on turboing a TB42e to run on dual fuel (petrol mainly just to get me to the servo when I run out of gas), and have come to a point where I am not sure what the best approach for the engine management is. I am not planning to go over 10 PSI boost and am only needing the extra power for towing.
I have actually bought a Wolf V500 and now am wondering if I need to go for something that allows me to see the O2 sensor, which the V500 does not do. (I need a separate wide band O2 sensor and interface if I use the V500.) I want an aftermarket ECU b/c a want to be able to switch fuel maps, therefore preserving the engine when running on petrol--if only briefly once in a blue moon....
I have tried to upload a pic of the engine bay, but I'm not sure if it worked or not.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of ECU would be the most cost effective and compatible for the TB42?
