Applied for a job a couple of weeks back and went in for a interview today.
Seemed to go very well, was happy that I had some 2ic experience, showed loyalty coming from my current employer of 19 years and my fitter and Turner background.
Now comes the waiting game.

4.5lt Gas blower. Lots of mods to come.....all in good time.
I believe giving credit where credit is due.
I bought 2 King Goanna Stretchers from 4WDSupacentre and they arrived yesterday. One was good, the other was faulty.
I put my claim in yesterday at 10:50am, got a response yesterday at 2:25pm, and a new stretcher was sent at lunchtime today. I attached some photos of the defect, as it's got a 5 year warranty, and I'm guessing that expedited my claim.
Gotta be happy with that.

no and i still need to make it bigger. its all hand tools aswell
so if anyone needs to visit a gym feel free to swing past and give me a hand, options include using shovels, maddock, crow bar, sledge hammer, pushing wheel barrows and the all purpose lifting heavy stuff ie bricks rocks concrete and beer
if its worth doin its worth over doin
i know about the bucket trick but the hose works too.
i've only removed 8 cubic meters of brick/concrete so far guessing i got maybe 3-4 left. then i can start putting in the stuff to get the retaining wall and pavers down.
maybe i should move this to the unhappy thread.... it sounds like work
if its worth doin its worth over doin
Got so blacksnakes behind the shed and about four in it hanging up TD , never a better word for crow bars and shovels , when I was working in the mine in Tennant creek I used to love throwing a brand new crow bar in the rotating mill and grabbing it as it came out the other end , same shape but no bigger than a pencil .
Sitting outside watching a minor storm come through with a few cold Coopers ales... priceless !
