Yesterday and today, I sat in the shade with some fine wet'n'dry, some water, some cloths and a bottle of Purple Polish. I also found out that the pup loves to lick up the polish

Yes Michael, I bought a JEE.....60.
I've been trying to find a longer hitch that fits. ....... 3 different makes so far and none fit, one went in half way, the 2nd wnet in about an inch and the third wouldn't go in at all...... supposed to be a 50mm receiver, my 50mm short hitch fits no worries
Tis quite annoying as cant fit my bike carrier otherwise
I have had them custom made by our local tow bar mob for work and the price has been reasonable.
How reasonable is reasonable if you don't mind me asking?
I am going by memory but i think it was about $60 to supply and modify a hitch they had to suit the Mitsi Challenger work car I drive.
We have also bought other specialty hitches for mounting pump up antenna masts on them and the price has always seemed reasonable at the time but buggered if I can remember the actual price.

okey dokey, I'll have an ask around and see what's what
Changed the diff ratio from 3.54 to 4.11 and added a front locker whilst they were out.
Yeah, I did the same with mine 3.54 to 4.11 with e-locker. I'm on 33s, and it drive so much better. fuel consumption has improved 1-2 lph as well. Haven't gotten around to correcting the speedo yet..have the marks corrector, but been too lazy to fit it

I'm also on 33s and was just going to buy a new pinion speedo gear. $50 instead of $240 and I don't plan on running differently sized tyres. I just need to find the right one as I've found conflicting info from reading on forums.
