Bugger AB. The old man has allergic reactions to ticks they can be pretty bad for some people. He ended up passing out in the bush driving out luckily mum took over and got him to hospital but but pretty scary. . . Not the best seeing as they live in east Gippsland the tick capital! Need to get lee lee to do sum diggn i reckon, the heads do come off fairly easy. As far a lymes go not too sure, could as the old man but yeah could be a bit of Internet sensationalism . . .
If worst comes to worst i put dibs on ya new motor. .

I think he's gone into shock (or sitting in an ER sh1tting himself). Serves you right AB for going to Dr Google first, you should have known to come to the forum experts first.
There is NOTHING we don't know and are always happy to give free 'professional' advice.

@MB, in case he doesn't make it can we still have a Pizza Night after the funeral?

On a serious note..............saw on a TV show a few months back the best way to remove a tick was with one of those pens they use to remove warts by freezing them. Apparently when you try to remove a tick with your fingers or tweezers they "vomit" their stomach contents which is what causes the infection.

By using the pen you quick freeze them so this doesn't happen & makes it easy to remove them with the head still on. Have been meaning to get one for the First Aid box & give it a try to see if it works.

I think we should have a new donk and tick party.
After the new donk is fitted and we have had a few beers we can take turns trying to dig the tick out.

I'm more for natural therapy Winnie, look up Maggot Medicine and Leech Therapy. We could make our own YouTube video of the process, I'm sure AB wouldn't mind as it's all in the name of science (and his well-being).
    Cheers
