Hi all, am having trouble starting my td42t. Am thinking glow plugs.wondering how many volts i should have in the rail?

G'day mate and welcome to the forum. Is it hard to start hat and cold or just first start of the day?
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder

Hi,thanks for the welcome.is hard to start hot and cold,but starts fine just after shutdown.

Still a bit hard to guess at. If its hard to start in the morning first time, but then ok for the rest of the day its probably glows as you suggest. If its hard the first time and then only normal for a short time after shut down, its more likely to be the fuel going back down the line, maybe and air leak or faulty fuel pump. From your description of the problem, I'm guessing fuel or fuel pump issue.
@Yendor may know the voltage in the rail, but I don't think its glows.
