@Yendor or anyone else, is it easy enough to replace the alternator? e.g. can I just undo the bolts holding it in place, unplug it, remove belt and fit replacement or is there more involved?
2004 4.2TDi GU ST Ute, 3" Exhaust, UHF, Lightforce Spotties, BFG All Terrains, Steel Winchbar, Winch, Dual Batts, CC Ultimate IC, 4" Snorkel, XLR8 Steps and Scrub bar

Thanks Mudski, received my Hitachi alternator from Patrolapart, big thanks to them so time to have a crack.
