Just found their site. I'd be in the modified. The only thing keeping me out of the locked, up to 35 inch class is the reduction gears and the long arms by the looks of it

Here's the site. @Ben-e-boy you could run locked with a penalty for the reduction, you'll be fine with the long arms. It's a fairly relaxed comp, everyone's there for a good time. It's all points based and not timed, so less likely to do damage etc.

Ah righto. I don't really fancy a 75 point penalty. I think next time I'll throw in a stock t-case.
Its the " Standard spring and diff mounts only" rule that kinda threw me off using the long arms

@ben_e_boy my mate has long arms and pretty sure he didn't get any penalties. They're fairly casual with the comp (that's what makes it great) as for the penalty, my mate who won last time had a 100 point penalty for beadlocks, so if your good it shouldn't worry you.

They have changed it a little to make it fairer, in that they give smaller penalties for each track. Last comp my reverse lights were broken, and I lost 15 points per track (1 reverse penalty) fairly sure matty lost the same for his beadlocks (total loss o 105 points actually)
But as I said, it's fairly relaxed. We ran an extra track last time as there was only a small number of us.
Just a great weekend really.
They do have a Facebook page aswell, rockit Toowoomba comp, with more info and a few Piccies.
Cheers!
