Winch removal from bullbar
Morning Guys,
so i want to service my winch but i cannot work out how to get the bloody thing off my bullbar. I will upload a photo later of my predicament but i cant get a socket in behind the roller to separate the winch from the bar, i tried with a spanner but im pretty sure the amount of force ill need to remove it will need a breaker bar and i just cant get the bit over the bolt. are there any tricks to getting them separated or am i just a massive pussy and need to try harder, (or both haha).
thanks in advance

Pretty sure that the rollers don't need to come off. Should have 4 bolts that up up through the tray that the winch sits on. Let out some cable and you should be able to get the winch out.
I think that's how I did mine.
However I could have it all wrong.

Na the patrol winch bar uses the top bolts to mount winch..
So without seeing front on I'd grab a big extension bar and a good fitting socket and turn it from direct as possible in front..
Then your other 2 bolts are under the front bash plate..

I've got no cable on it arm, one of the reasons for removal.the bolt in the pic is the final 2bolts that must come off
