Brand new TD42 Crate motor last one ?

Just saw this. I don't know how common it is, but yeah it surprised me that you could still get brand new td42 blocks.
Supposedly it is one of the very last ones ???

A mate of mine just had his td42 let go and after a call to nissan australia he's been told there are no more td42 engines on the production line!!!

Take this with a grain of salt Kallen...
I read not long ago they were supporting the td42 market 10 years after halting cars being fitted with them. I think it was on another forum.
I guess it's been 10 years has it not ?
No clue how fact worthy any of this is though.
