Can I use SAE 80W 90 to replace the oil in my manual transmission?

Can I use SAE 85 W 140 to replace the oil in my rear diff.?

I cannot find the exact oils specified in the manual where I live. Could these gear oils work as substitutes with good results?

Yes those grades are fine.

With th e gearbox oil stick to a gl-4 classified oil.
