    4wd mode indicator

    Hey guys

Was out today and the four wheel drive indicator light went off and now doesn't come back on when in 4H or 4L.

Any ideas before I call service tomorrow

    Cheers

You may have knocked the wire off the gearbox/tranfer case
Shouldnt be a big drama IMO

Assuming it is transferring between H and L, shouldn't be a major issue. As TD suggests a wire off or switch out of adjustment.

    Hey mate,

If you wanna check its definitely the light and nothing mechanical theres an easy test:
find a car park or somewhere you can turn the truck around easily, put it in 2 wheel drive, turn full lock right or left and drive. If its still in 4WD the wheels will skid and fight against you. If its in 2WD it will just act normal. Easy way to find out if its mechanical issue or not.

As suggested though sounds like you've knocked wires around on the gearbox/transfer case.
