I love the KM2's.... they are a brilliant tyre.
If things go well next year I will look to buying these again.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Just been reading a few comments about warranty claims on this thread, you need the warranty so be careful who you buy them from,
The tyre delaminates on the inside, you won't know until it blows out, I only found out when I had an unrelated flat fixed, and got them checked and replaced under warranty.

Ive narrowed my tyre choice down to 3 tyres Dick Cepek Country Mud $1880 5 off 285x75x16, Micky Thompsons Baja ATZ P3 at $375 per tyre fitted and last of all General Tyres Grabber SLR $1855 5 tyres.
Anyone used General Tyres before, if so what are they like
These tyre whatever I choose will be accompanied with a 2" lift, was told by 3 different tyre companies not to put 305 on a 16" GU rim
Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated

I bought a set of KM2s with the intention swapping them between my road tryes as needed. I ended up leaving them on all the time as they have better road manners than the old series. I've done about 30,000 on them so far with no signs of ware. They also seem less noisey that the old ones. Very happy with them.

What was their logic for not fitting 305s to the nissan time? They are a 16x8 rim and the 305s go on just fine.
My GUIV has a 130k old 3" lift on it and rides great and clears the Tyres no problem. I have Rockcrawler rims in a 16x8 neg6 offset. The nissan offset is +10.
