Well I won't end up getting another patrol sadly guys. The wife and I had many(to many) discussions and she didn't want another 4wd at all and few arguments later we agreed I can get a 4by but not a patrol as I will spend too much money on it and go hardcore wheeling again.

Soooo anyway. I tried my best to get something anything practical and can't stand toyotas and their prices and I am not getting a dual cab as every ute I've had out with me has broken and or failed miserably.

I took a few jeeps for a drive and bloody hated them. Didn't feel right in them at all. Plus my wife said that every movie you see a jeep in there's a chick in a bikini driving it and I don't look good in bikinis apparently( might be the hairy back and chest). So not one of those.

It's going to be the Pajero due to the fact the wife enjoys driving it and I won't be able to mod the crap out of it with lifts and such. Haha little does she know.

But I don't plan on leaving here unless the big ban stick comes out for leaving the patrol religion. I haven't converted more just testing the waters.

Well I promise not to post pics of said vehicle but I may need a name change. Hahaha.

    Cheers fellas
    Shane

Geeze mate even a 4.5 petrol gu would be a better option than a bloody paja.
Doesn't have to be hardcore and I must admit for some reason the the gu's are much more comfortable.

But these things happen mate. Good luck with the buy
    Cheers

She doesn't want to hop UP into it any more, more like slide in and out of the vehicle. I Friggen tried every line and angle but I failed. I apologise

hahaha, Did you use my trol as a reference for the "hop up into" factor? Might have helped?
I remember when I tested that 2006 model from Holden and took it back to my missus, she hated it but yours thought it was good.....

    Oh how times change.

I know. But I can't give the Pajero a 4 in lift and 35s. That's her main concern.

At least it's not a bloody prado

Welcome to the "I wish I had a patrol club". Life is all about compromise.

At least you will probably get a 4by and can still have some fun. That's the way I look at it. I went with the guys on the Tallrook trip on the weekend. Parked beside some of the others my old Jack looks like a teenager that still needs to grow. But it still followed along nicely.

You can still get stuff for a Pajero easily and make it very capable. Not hardcore like the GQ bit should still be good.

Who knows what's to come? Can keep dreaming.
    Thanks, Cameron
