That trip will always be up there as one of my favourites... you and me and Kris drunk as skunks hack sawing a bullbar, the Mighty Mav doing Barkely river jeep track.. first time I met Drew and Jamie and they got munted on the first night... the river crossings with water you could stay in all day and those bush fires all around us so we had the place mostly to our selves... epic !!!!
Yes apart from the Simpson it is my favourite forum trip so far... Let's relive it next weekend

You weren't impressed with the first night of licola? When we all stood around the fire in the snow/rain looking miserable?
I dont think anyone was but it made for a very memorable trip and I wouldn't change a thing.

That was one of the most miserable fires I've ever stood around that night Winnie, rain, sleet, snow, howling gale, I reckon with windchill it would have been near enough to -5......certainly memorable though. LOL
