    Mild steel is fine. Preferably a 2mm wall if you can.

    Far out mate.... back 12 years ago I had a titanium system on my GPz900R and in Japan it was $2500.

    I full 3 inch system on a Patrol ???

    Hmm maybe 3 or likely 4 depending on price. It will be interesting to see the costing

    Is this a made system as I know it is extremely difficult material to work with and from memory its must be done in a vacuum?

    Here is a bit of an update....

    I ended up taking oil from the oil pressure side off a T-piece to feed the turbo after I starved it and the car sounded like a truck and blew tonnes of smoke.

    The turbo I got was a cheap deal I got but is proving to be just that.

    It is a shwitzer turbo and came with an intercooler off who knows what?

    Now yesterday I went for a drive since fixing the boost leaks and getting oil to the turbo and it felt ok but today I fitted a catch can and plumed the wasted gases to the low pressure side of the intake and now the car does not seem like it wants to boost ... before it was flat out getting to 7 pound but I dont think it even manages that now.

    There is also a really bad vibration through the pedal and seems to vibrate through the whole car.

    It does not blow one bit of smoke now at all and is also bloody loud.... like driving a Kenworth.

    I managed to get my new pyrometer to work and on the freeway under light load at 95kmh it was sitting on 350-400... coming onto the freeway it gets over 450 pushing 500????

    Right now I cant stand it !!!
