    Question Can your AT's survive this kind of treatment?

    I run Coopers myself but dont plan on doing this with them!

    I thought it would have been quicker to just get the one off the back door ?
    the one thing wrong with middle age ...is knowing you will grow out of it !

    Sorry mate but I think the 8 second free fall would be faster, by the time the jeep owner got out the manual to find out where the spare is and all the crappy supplied tools needed they would more than likely given up and called racq

    That's not true actually, the back doors are notoriously weak. So if they were on a bumpy road (not off road, it would break down before then), the tyre would fall off along with half of the back door.

    "Our toughest all terrain tyre yet"

    So the jeep needed a tyre replacement. Reading between the lines, did they

    a) replace a 'failed' cooper tyre or
    b) fit a cooper replacement which was at odds with the three 'other brand' tyres?
