In theory would one expect higher egts if they had a boost leak or the wastegate was slightly open all the time?

Less air, less boost, making it run more rich?

Not comparing my non ic to ic just a question in general...

If the lever on the wastegate arm was correct and holding correct boost then one should expect lower egts then if it was half open surely?

If boost was down then yes as you say it will be richer and slightly higher egts. But you could run no boost in your setup and egts should fine.

If I get the chance one time I would like to check egts on a na engine I think it would be quite surprising.
