Just make his days as fun and comfy as possible. I hate seeing a pet leave early and is heart wrenching. Great looking companion there.

Legendary
The hardest thing for me to do was put my old border collie down. She had a cancer called sarcoma that produces it own cancerous cells and sends it out through her whole body. By the time we found out Tess had a soccer ball sized tumour off her spleen. For a 20 kg dog it was Friggen huge. But we had 10 fantastic years from her and when she went 9 months later our little girl came along

This is Eva she is around 5 months now got her from 12weeks old. She is a staff x bull Arab Typical pup heaps of character and even more energy, the kids absolutely love her and as she does them. We used to have a staff x red healer but lost her in the fires, will dig up a pic of her when I am next at the computer. image-425246241.jpg

It is a difficult thing to do mate, but you are doing the best thing for the dog, no point letting them suffer for no need.
Perhaps we should do the same with humans when they have illnesses like terminal cancer,I dunno.
Anyway, here is my 12 year old Weimaraner, goit him as the owner did not want him after only nine months old, he is and has been a bloody great dog...........
It is now official, we are not quite so sh@t at cricket as we were! Rugby Union is a different matter.

If you look at my Avatar, that's Billy a pure bred American bulldog he's about 55-65kg .
Your dog seems to have the same wrinkles in his forehead, does he have any brown/tan patches?
