3.9 diffs & GU rear bumper
G'day folks,
I am after 3.9 front & rear diffs to suit my 2001 GU 4.2 Patrol and a rear bumper bar as well. I am going to be selling my Patrol soon, so i am putting it back to stock. I want to keep my ARB front and rear lockers and K-MAR rear bar.
Please PM me with your contact details if you can help me.
Regards,
RLI

Mate, gotta ask - what is the attraction with putting it all back to stock? A lot of blokes would love all your mods.
Between Patrols ATM. Had a beaut GU with 6.5 Chev TD. Next is a GU ute with a 4.5 litre Cummins conversion and a camper on the back.

While buyers may like the mods, he won't get replacement value for them in the sale of the car, so if he is buying a new car they will fit into, he could be well in front keeping the goodies, as appose to having to buy new stuff all over again out of the sale price.
Also, if not buying a new car to replace the troll, second hand as separate items, those type of parts are worth good $$ and should be easy to sell.

G'evening mate,
I will have a better chance of selling the car if it is more affordable ie, in the mid $20,000 than trying to sell it in the mid $30,000 price range.
Also i have over $20,000 worth of accessories on it that will go on the Chev Patrol that i buy. ie, ARB front and rear lockers which are only 6 months old and cost over $2400.00 GPS/DVD entertainment system which is only 9 months old and cost $1500.00. 33 inch tyres which cost me over $1700. I still have a set of 5 Pirelli Scorpions all terrains 265x75x16 tyres that came of the Patrol which are just sitting in my garage gathering dust. I also have $2000 grands worth of rear draws that will also go in my new Patrol as well as over $3,000 grands worth of suspension. $ 2,000 grands worth Cross Country intercooler etc etc.
I stand to lose to much selling the Patrol with all the accessories together. It is a lot more difficult selling a car in the mid $30,000 range as well. A car yard friend also advised me that a lot of folks out there prefer 4x4's lightly modified ie, bull bar, snorkel, roof rack then heavily modified.
Regards,
RLI

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
